He expressed these views while talking to APP after visiting Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS). He went there to inquire about the health of those injured in the unfortunate incident, which took place at Jaffar village of Fatehjang on Friday.
Shaukat said that despite the cowardly murder attempt on his life by terrorist elements the government would not be deterred from continuing economic reforms in the country.
He strongly condemned the suicide attack and affirmed that government will not be cowed down by these inhuman acts and will deal with the terrorists strictly.
During the visit Minister for Health Mohammad Naseer Khan accompanied him. Both the ministers went to the injured persons in different wards and the ICU. They also visited ASP Abdul Ghafoor Afridi who was severely injured in the incident.
The ministers directed the hospital's Executive Director Fazal-e-Hadi to provide all possible help and best treatment to the injured. The ministers also consoled with the relatives of the injured on the occasion.
